…but they’re so good at sports! The simple reason for which America has run away with the Global Cup for the second consecutive year is their breadth of excellence across the sporting spectrum.

The USA have won the Global Cup 2010 with a healthy 1.337 weighted points margin over Russia.

The Brazil Men Volleyball team won the title at the World Volleyball Championships in October, and bagged the biggest Global Cup points gain of the month.

September has been one of the hottest months on the 2010 sporting calendar: leading off with the Basketball World Championships (Men) in Turkey, and following with several other major tournaments such as the Weightlifting World Championships, the Free and Greco-Roman Wrestling Worlds, the Canoe-Kayak Slalom World Championships, the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships, the Berlin Marathon and a few more world class events.

The Canadian- born star middle blocker of the US Volleyball team was voted MVP at the 2010 FIVB World Grand Prix in Ningbo (China), which the US ladies won, defeating Brazil in the final.
