Russia, China Share Artistic Gymnastics World Championships title
Russia and China shared top spot at the 2017 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships held in Montreal, Canada, with both countries scoring 192 points.
Japan came third with 180 points (12.8% of the points on offer). The USA, the Ukraine, Germany, Canada, Great Britain, the Netherlands and Switzerland rounded out the Top Ten. The Stars & Stripes’ fourth place was a surprise, after the USA won the 2015 World Championships and topped the Artistic Gymnastics Global Cup ranking last year.
Please note that Greatest Sporting Nation’s tables are updated on a monthly basis and hence the results of these Championships, which finished on 8th October, won’t be reflected in the rankings until the October results are uploaded in early November.
