Norway wins month of February ahead of USA, Germany

Ester Ledecka (Czech Republic) won two Olympic golds at PyeongChang 2018, in two different sports, Snowboarding and Alpine Skiin

Norway won the month of February in the 2018 Global Cup, the annual ranking of the world's best sporting nations. They scored 753 points – with the vast majority of those points coming from their first place at the Winter Olympics.

The USA were second with 605 points, after coming third at the Winter Olympics and also scoring points at the Tokyo Marathon, the Cyclo-cross World Championships and the Bandy World Championships.
Germany finished third with 593 points, after finishing second at the Winter Olympics.
 
The Winter Games had a major influence on the rest of February’s results with Canada, Sweden, the Olympic Athletes of Russia (OAR), Switzerland, France, Japan and Austria rounding out the Top Ten thanks to their performances at PyeongChang 2018.
