Netherlands Wins 2018 Track Cycling World Championships
The Netherlands took full advantage of their home track and won the Track Cycling World Championships 2018 with 258 points (16.5% of the points on offer.)
Germany came second with 196 points (12.6% of the points on offer) and Great Britain third with 162 points (10.4% of the points on offer).
Australia (winners in 2017 and 2015), Italy, Russia, the USA, Denmark, New Zealand and France rounded out the Top Ten.
There were a total of 1560 points, across 20 events, up for grabs at the Track Cycling World Championships and 28 countries scored points (see full table below). The Championships took place at Apeldoorn in the Netherlands and finished on 4th February.
At the time of publication, the tournament results weren’t yet reflected on the GSN tables.
