The GSN Global Cup and Annual Ranking feature the world’s top men and ladies tournaments for prestige and prize money: The British and the US Open Championships, the PGA and LPGA Championships, The Masters and the Kraft Nabisco Championship.

The top professional tournaments in the world are organised by the PGA and the LPGA (the membership organizations for men and ladies professional golfers) and feature both national and international Tours. Each Tour consists of several tournaments and players compete for overall aggregate victory in the Tour.

 
The Men’s PGA Tour has a regular season (March to August) with 36 tournaments, each awarding points towards the 4 play-off tournaments in September and the overall Tour ranking, the Fedex Cup. For the full schedule see www.pgatour.com/r/schedule/.
Other notable Men Tour are the European Tour, the Japan Golf Tour, the Asian Tour, the PGA Tour of Australasia and the Sunshine Tour (Southern Africa).
 
The Ladies LPGA Tour features 30 tournaments from February to October, which award points for the Rolex Ranking. For the schedule see www.lpga.com/tournaments_index.aspx.
Outside of the PGA/LPGA Tours, other major international tournaments are the Ryder Cup, contested by a US and a Europe team, and the corresponding ladies’ event, the Solheim Cup.
