Taiwan Wins 2017 Ten Pin Bowling World Championships

Taiwan have won the Ten Pin Bowling World Championships with 144 points (15.5% of the points on offer).
It was one of the very last tournaments of the 2017 sporting year, and a first for the Asian country – their best result in the championships across the last five years was 8th in 2013.
 
The USA came second with 130 points (13.9% of the points on offer), adding yet another sport to their trophy list, and Malaysia third with 86 points (9.2% of the points on offer), their only podium finish in any of GSN’s sports this year.
 
Last year’s winners Denmark, South Korea, Colombia, Hong Kong, Germany, Japan and Canada rounded out the Top Ten.
 
There were a total of 932 points across 12 events up for grabs at the 2017 Ten Pin Bowling World Championships, and 18 countries scored points. The full ranking is below.
