Global Cup 2013

GSN`s Combat Sports category incorporates five separate disciplines - Judo, Taekwondo, Boxing (amateur), and Wrestling (Free and Greco-Roman), 

2013 was the sixth year in which GSN published its unique rankings on the sports performance of all the nations in the world.

On the back of a late surge Australia have finished in the top ten of the 2013 GSN Global Cup for the sixth year in succession, one of seven countries to do so.

How successfully are inter-related sports practiced in the many countries in the GSN world?

The USA and Slovenia have topped the 2013 standings in GSN’s two main rankings, the Global Cup and the Per Capita Cup respectively.

In a relatively lean sporting month, the headlines in the Global Cup, the unique ranking of the world’s best sporting nations, have been made by the heavy hitters at the Shooting World Championships and the ATP Tennis Masters Finals.
