China Wins 2018 Diving World Cup
China won the 2018 Diving World Cup with 142 points – an extraordinary 33.1% of the points on offer. The Asian country isn’t new to such an exploit in this sport, having won the Diving World Cup with a 34.8% share of the points in 2014.
Mexico came second with 38 points (8.9% of the points on offer) and the USA third with 37 points (8.5% of the points on offer).
Canada, Australia, Great Britain, Malaysia, North Korea, Ukraine and Russia rounded out the Top Ten.
There were a total of 429 points, across 11 events, up for grabs at the 2018 Diving World Cup and 16 countries scored points (full results below).
China’s dominance reflected the fact that they won gold in every single one of those 11 events.
