The 2010 ISSF Shooting World Championships

Yi Siling of China
In August 2010 Munich hosted the 50th edition of the ISSF World Shooting Championships.
A huge tournament, with 19 individual events and over 40 nations earning GSN points in the proceedings.
China topped the GSN ranking overall, by a comfortable margin over Russia and the USA, with host nation Germany in fourth place.
The Mens competitions were won by Russia over China, but the decisive factor in the Asiatic nation’s victory was their absolute dominance in the Ladies events, where China scored 230 points vs only 92 by second place Germany! Chinese ladies won gold in the Double Trap, the 10m Running Target and the 10m Air Rifle events, and collected more points in several other events.
The overall top ten was:
  1. China
  2. Russia
  3. USA
  4. Germany
  5. Norway
  6. South Korea
  7. Italy
  8. France
  9. Serbia
  10. Switzerland.
